1/3 Scale BBS LM inspired wheel clock. The clock features real custom made hardware so that it can be taken apart like a real 3 piece wheel!
Made from a T6061 Aluminum block. GreyMrkt manufactured the wheel using a 5 Axis CNC Machine. Each wheel is then cleaned, deburred, and placed in an abrasive blaster where the center section of the wheel is textured by applying fine glass beads at high pressure, without damaging the surface. The right amount of contrast when the rest of the wheel is then polished and finally chrome dipped to achieve the final finishing.
The goal was to introduce something that was not only a beautiful scaled model, but also was functional for daily use that could be enjoyed by all wheel enthusiasts. They then paired it with a swift Quartz movement to finish out the product.
